HOLE 9

An elevated tee provides wonderful views of Luce Bay and the Rhins of Galloway peninsula. The fairway is wide with one bunker on either side and then narrows to a sheltered green protected by the hillock that houses the 12th tee. Hazards abound around the long, narrow green including gorse bushes, a bunker and a drop off into thick rough running the length of the green’s left hand side. Wind from the south makes the hole play shorter. Wind from the north makes the hole play longer.
